How long should a recording be?
Aim for about 30 minutes. A recording can be up to 90 minutes; for longer tasks, submit the current clip and start a new one to avoid losing footage.
What mobile phones are eligible?
The phone needs a native ultra-wide camera lens and full IMU sensor. Check the eligible device list ↗, or ask in Slack.
My work category is missing. What should I do?
Tell your project lead in Slack. Our team will work to add the appropriate category as soon as possible.
Are two hours per day mandatory?
No. There is no penalty if you cannot reach two hours every day, though consistent daily recording is encouraged. Check in with your workplace manager if you cannot record.
Can I share my invite code or account?
No. Sharing is strictly prohibited. If you know an interested business, ask the team for a referral link.
Can I edit or delete videos after submission?
No. Submitted videos cannot be edited or deleted because the program collects raw, unedited footage. Sensitive faces or documents can be anonymized during processing.
How do I get paid?
micro1 partners directly with your workplace. Your workplace manager can explain how compensation, bonuses, or other payments will be distributed.
What if I choose the wrong category?
That’s okay. It can be corrected in the background. Select the right category for future recordings whenever possible.
Can I record faces or customers?
Only where the business has permission and workplace consent rules are followed. Captured faces or sensitive information can be anonymized. Never record minors.
Can I record audio?
Yes; audio must remain on. Natural conversation, task sounds, and workplace ambiance are okay. Avoid loud music.
