We’ll explore what world models are, why they are emerging as an important complement to language models, and how they could support applications across robotics, autonomous systems, gaming, and simulation.

We’ll also look at how these systems are evaluated for predictive accuracy, physical plausibility, temporal consistency, and responsiveness to actions. This includes the role of human evaluators in reviewing model behavior, identifying failure modes, and catching edge cases as the technology moves from research toward real-world deployment.
