micro1 is an AI-powered recruitment and job matching platform to connect professionals with their dream jobs. Our system automatically matches your skillset with companies looking to hire, or you can search our job board and apply for roles you think are a good fit for you. Once you apply to a job and get certified, you get added to our talent pool and opportunities will come to you.
What happens after I pass the certification process?
Once certified, your profile is included in our certified talent pool for role matching. We recommend candidates in our talent pool when customers want to hire, based on direct data coming from your performance. You’ll be considered for open opportunities that align with your certified skills. Certification does not guarantee hiring, but it opens the door to multiple possible opportunities.
Can I apply to roles independently?
Absolutely! Applying directly to roles is a great way to target opportunities requiring skills not yet certified. Our AI provides personalized company recommendations to help guide your application process.
How does micro1 ensure fairness in its hiring process?
Our AI-powered system assesses and matches candidates based on skills only, eliminating the potential of bias and promoting hiring based on meritocracy. We then have human recruiters review those reports for possible matches.
What types of roles does micro1 offer?
Our platform supports a wide range of roles across industries, from software engineering to marketing, design, medicine, writing and beyond. Our listings include entry-level positions through highly technical roles requiring advanced expertise.
What should I do while waiting for updates after certification?
Enhance your profile by adding detailed descriptions of your experiences and certifying additional skills that align with in-demand roles. These updates can improve your chances of being matched.
If I don’t get matched immediately, what happens to my profile?
Your profile remains active in our system and will be considered for future opportunities. As new roles matching your skills become available, we’ll notify you. If you’re no longer interested, you can always delete your profile in settings.
Does being certified guarantee a job?
While certification itself doesn’t guarantee a job, it increases your likelihood of being shortlisted. Final hiring decisions are made by our customers based on their internal processes.
How will I know if I’ve been selected for a role?
If selected, you’ll receive a formal offer either from micro1 or one of our customers. Please wait until you have a confirmed offer before giving notice to your current employer.
Why do I need to certify my skills?
Certifications allow us to verify your expertise, ensuring a fair and efficient matching process. It also provides our customers confidence in your skills.
How does micro1 communicate updates to candidates?
We send updates via email keeping you informed about your profile’s status and any role matches. We continue presenting your profile, including the recording of your AI Interview to potential matches.
Can I update my profile after certification?
Yes, you can add new experiences, update role descriptions, and certify additional skills to increase your chances of being matched.
Which email domains are official micro1 addresses?
Official micro1 emails come from @micro1.ai, @micro1.io, or @micro1.co. All are verified and used for communication about interviews, certification, and projects.
